Hello! I'm Yana Hihlovskaya-

Born in 2002, I've dedicated my life to media and design. On the internet I work under the alias "BurntBugel".

For as long as I can remember I've been day dreaming about fantasy worlds and exciting adventures, and eventually, I picked up illustration to visualise all my silly ideas.

Desiring to bring life to my drawings and graduating from my gymnasium, I started searching for schooling offers in the animation industry.I barely knew 3D art, before I stumbled upon Pixl Visn, an Arts and Media Academy in Germany.

 

Starting from scratch with a fairly technical but creative media, I had to quickly learn the basics of storyboarding, modelling, texturing, rigging, cutting, editing, sound design and of course, animation.

I've gained valuable knowledge of working in a small pipeline team while doing projects at Pixl Visn and, most importantly, learned to look for help and feedback when encountering the unknown. 

​

I am always very enthusiastic about meeting deadlines and trying my best at anything I pick up. This, mixed with the overwhelming amount of new material I've been given at Pixl, I've learned to quickly adapt to big workloads while simultaneously self-learning programs, that might help ease my tasks. A good example of this is how I learned how to use Unreal Engine 5 in under a week so I could use it in my Midterm 400 Project!

In just 18 Months, after a crushing workload and a ton to learn, I'm delighted to finally have a demoreel to show.

Of course, being so fresh out the 3D-oven, I still have a long way to go and lots to learn. Yet nothing will hold me back from finishing what I started-
